A lot of people are often involved in the pre- and post-award processes. Some of them may be allowed to access only their own data or data in specific subunits. Others may access everything. It is therefore necessary to be able to assign different rights to different users.

MyGrant’s role management allows you to manage the roles and rights for all users. You can choose from five different levels of user roles – basic, basic+, account, account admin, and super account admin. You can also grant access to specific subunits.

Basic user: Rights to view and edit own data. Full access to Fundraising, Applications and Timely modules. Limited access to Grant Management and Accounting modules.

Basic+ user: Same rights as Basic user + rights to edit the funding database and to create grant applications on the behalf of others.

Account user: Rights to view and edit own data and view data from other users in subunits that the account user has access to. Full access to Fundraising, Applications, Grant Management, Accounting and Timely modules.

Account admin user: Rights to view and edit own data as well as data from other users in subunits that the account admin user has access to. Full access to Fundraising, Applications, Grant Management, Accounting and Timely modules. Full access to settings.

Super account admin user: Same rights as Account admin user + rights to grant subunit access to themselves and all other users.
